What you say about yourself is one thing, what others say really counts!
Have you ever heard someone deliver a pitch and it is all about THEM saying how great THEY are?
It may come across as “braggy” and the truth is no-one likes a braggart!
I believe in the power of sharing your wins but doing it in a way that showcases your greatness without sounding like a big mouth bragger!
In The Perfect Pitch Program under types of pitches, the one that allows you to showcase your wins is the Testimonial Pitch.
To create a testimonial pitch all you need to do is follow these 4 steps:
- Find a short testimonial from a recent client.
- Start your pitch with “What I say about myself is one thing, what others say is what REALLY counts. Today I would like to share a recent client testimonial.”
- {insert testimonial}
- Include you call to action that is RELEVANT to the client type based on the testimonial you have just delivered.
As an example, here is one of my Testimonial Pitches:
My name is Sarah Bauling and I work with you to create and craft your Perfect Pitch.
What I say about myself is one thing, what others say is what REALLY counts. Today I would like to share a recent client testimonial from one of my Perfect Pitch Academy members Cherie.
“I have been working with Sarah, The Perfect Pitch Guru for over 2 years. Sarah gives you the blueprint, strategies and confidence to keep your pitch fresh, engaging and relevant. Even if your pitch is good, there is still room for improvement and at The Pitch Academy we just keep getting better and better.”
